What this website collects, why, and the services involved.

Who we are
This website is operated by Austris Press, an independent publisher. You can reach us at hello@austrispress.com.
Information you give us
- Email sign-ups. When you request a free bonus scene, you enter your email address into a form provided by Kit (kit.com). Kit stores your address on our behalf and delivers the scene and any later emails. We use it only to send you what you signed up for and related news about the books. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Advance-copy requests. If you request an advance reader copy, the request form (processed by Kit) collects your first name, email address, preferred ebook format, where you usually review books, and an optional note. We use these details only to review your request and, if you are selected, to contact you about the advance copy. You will be asked to confirm your email address before your request is complete. A request does not add you to any ongoing mailing list; you join Remy Ashcroft’s reader list only if you tick the separate, optional box on the form.
- Remy Ashcroft reader list. If you join the reader list on The Vanishing Sky page, the form (processed by Kit) collects your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name. We use them only to send occasional email from Remy Ashcroft about new books, The Resonance Trilogy, early-reader opportunities, and related book news. You will be asked to confirm your email address first, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. Joining the reader list does not enter you into any advance-copy program.
- Free story signup (Three Days Late). If you request Three Days Late, Kit manages your newsletter signup and sends your confirmation email. After you confirm your email address, you are directed to StoryOrigin to download the story files. Your use of those services is also subject to their privacy policies.
- Email you send us. If you write to an austrispress.com address, we receive your message, name, and email address. Our email is hosted by Proton Mail. We use these details only to read and reply to your message.
Information collected automatically
This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers and does not set cookies of its own. However:
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like most web hosts, Hostinger may process technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, in order to serve pages and keep the site secure.
- Fonts. The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when a page loads.
- Sign-up and request forms. Some pages load a sign-up form from Kit, and submitting any sign-up or request form sends what you entered to Kit's servers.

- Proton Mail — email correspondence: proton.me/legal/privacy
- Hostinger — website hosting: hostinger.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Google Fonts — web typefaces: policies.google.com/privacy
Links to Amazon and other retailers take you to sites we don't control; their own privacy policies apply there.
